It came as quite a surprise to me to find that in Benalmadena there was a Hindu tmeple (although I am not too sure why I should be surprised!). Not knowing much about Hindu temples, it appears quite modest, with very well kept gardens and as you can see kind of blends in with the surrounding buildings. The sign on the gate was in keeping with the traditional Spanish signs being tiled. Sadly though I was unable to go in to this temple as it was closed (I was there on Sunday late morning).
Apologies for the darkness of this photo but the weather as you can see was not helping! We came across this tucked away church when walking on Sunday in Benalmadena. Everyone was bustling there way to a service. It was siuated in street amongst shops slightly set back from the road with several trees in front of the church. It appeared quite plain from the outside. We thought there was a service either in progress or about to begin so we did not venture inside. The area around the church was very well kept, we would both have been interested to look inside, so perhaps on another occassion!
