Some first ever experiences this weekend between a placement supervisor and student…..

• Having to wait for the unfit student to climb a mountain or two….
• Saying to your supervisor that you need to hide behind the bushes as you need a pee..!!
• Not being sure whether I needed lunch when it was too late and not knowing how to say anything – feeling very stupid….!!
• Discussing problems with your bank accounts and the banking system in England and the fact you have no money….!!
• Having to help you into a wetsuit….!
• For roles to be reversed between you and supervisor with you being the more knowledgeable one on a subject and them having to trust you with something e.g. whilst diving….
• Supervisor to be out of comfort zone and needing to trust her student
