Not very good pictures as such more snaps (with bad light) but these are of around the port area in Puerto Banus. Where you can find the boats and posh shops (photos of these to follow). The back streets are a little more ´typical´Spain ish but still with the bars and restaurants underneath including a champagne internet cafe in one.... No that is not where I am to be found posting things to my blog....!!
Today I initially found it difficult to motivate myself to get out choosing rather to read my book in my apartment…(I have now finished the 3 books I brought with me and will have to begin raiding the residents library downstairs or perhaps even looking at my research proposal!!). Anyway once I had finished the book time for me to get out and about. I began with my usual wander along the beach and the port (a good spot for people watching but is usually full of tourists at weekends). I had been told that there was a market on Sundays up near the plaza de torros (bull ring) so I decided to wander up there to take a look. I walked up the hill found the bull ring and the general area that I thought it was in but to no avail, either I had the wrong day or totally the wrong place….!!! I think it could be the wrong day as when I have been up to that area on a Saturday there have been some Market stalls around so perhaps I should have ventured up there yesterday instead..!! Anyway it was a nice walk which took me slightly further out of Puerto Banus it is still mainly surrounded by holiday lets and hotels..
