Weekend 3 - Venturing out on foot from Puerto Banus

The above two images are looking towards Marbella and back to Puerto Banus about half way along the path. Sorry they are a bit dark had camera on wrong settings!!

The far left image is of a tiled bench, as I neared Marbella these became more frequent along the coastal path. In contrast the picture here was of a little waterfall just set behind the coastal path a little and was secluded from full view of passers by like a little secret oasis..!!!

Due to a long week for both of us including a considerable amount of rain and Jasbir and I decided not to meet up this weekend remaining instead in Puerto Banus and Benalmadena respectively.

I had been told here in my first week that there was a nice walk along the coast to Marbella so figured so long as it wasn’t pouring with rain I would do this on Saturday and venture out of Puerto Banus a bit more. Following a bit of a long needed lie in I left for Marbella. It is a lovely walk about 7km all of which is along the coast a mixture of sand and pathway all the way right next to the sea. I passed several people along the way, most of which were English!! The pathway is scattered with a few small bars/cafes along the way some on the beach and some on the path, many of these were closed due to it being slightly out of season. Marbella itself was much as I expected really, the seafront area appears clean, with a selection of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops along the front. The town of Marbella is pleasant much like any other town centre with its streets and shops of all types really. I even managed to get the bus back without any problems although have discovered the bus drivers have a mind of their own as to where they decide they will stop (as they didn’t stop at the usual bus stop, rather the one further on which meant a bit of a walk back!)…
