Well, so today is Valentines day... Here in Spain it is not really marked in a big wa, it doesn´t appear to be as commercialised as in the UK. However, at lunchtime today all the female residents had a red carnation laid by their place in the dining room... This was great and the talk of many of the residents, apart from one, who was found to be eating theirs... Honestly inspite of the residents whinging about the food it is not that bad really!!!!
Today has been a pretty normal day as normal is around here, there is never a dull moment (a new phrase for my supervisor!) I assure you and have been learning a lot, not just Spanish either, there is still so much to learn. The psychologist was not in this morning and so, I took the memory class today (in English) one of the auxillaries afterwards came to the room with a spanish resident and asked if I was continuing in Spanish (normally the English memory class is followed by the Spanish version!) - uh - I think not, as it is not up to that level at all...!!!
My supervisor spoke to me at lunchtime about Morocco and there is a possibility that we may go one weekend, which would be rather nice, as it is very close to here... but we will have to wait and see, so watch this space...
This weekend I have made a promise to myself to get out with the camera and take pics aroudn the port etc so hopefully there will be some more for next week. However they say it may rain here...!! What on earth is happening with the weather...!
