Weekend 5

Well, here we are the end of my 5th week here, I can hardly believe it really time is flying by….

This weekend I had nothing planned so a quiet one all in all. I spent Saturday just doing the usual bits and pieces and ventured across to see Jasbir in the afternoon taking the 2 buses to get to Benalmadena, which I mis timed and ended up spending an hour in Marbella bus station (not the best of places but had my book and ipod so it was not too bad…!!).

We went out for a bite to eat on Saturday night to Puerto Marina, a nice port area in Benalmadena with Arabian influenced architecture. We ate an Italian meal and both agree it was good to have different food that was hot and tasty. Although both ate a bit too much as needed the walk back up the hill…!!

Sunday we spent a very lazy morning both feeling very tired. After lunch we wandered up to go on the cable car but again it was closed due to high wind…! Despite this we had a good walk around as it was sunny and very warm when the wind died down.
All in all it was good to catch up and see Jasbir happier and more settled in her life in Benalmadena.
