The Laundry…!

This morning (Saturday) I decided it was about time I ventured to the laundry, I had been given a bag to put my dirty laundry in earlier in the week. Yesterday Maria had shown me where it was, in the basement of Sanyres, (so it’s all onsite and I don’t have to pay or anything) and explained to me in Spanish how to get there, which was no problem, as I catch enough words to guess the rest and fill in the blanks!! However I also thought she said to the lady who I was to take my washing to (name escapes me) that I didn’t speak much Spanish and that she had to speak very slowly….!!

Hmmmmm… Well, perhaps not….I took my washing down this morning before breakfast and where the lady spoke very fast in Spanish to me of which I didn’t even get one word!! She pointed to a jumper, so I took that to mean did I have any delicate items in my washing, so I pointed out a couple of things…. Then another load of Spanish, however this time I picked out a couple of words, I think it was Lunes (Monday) and then tardes (afternoon).

However, I am not sure whether I have to go and collect my clothes on Monday afternoon, whether it is all of them that wont be ready until Monday afternoon (good job I have other uniform for Monday, although I still need to take the trousers up!!) or whether some will be ready this afternoon and I am to collect, or whether they bring them back to the apartment but I didn’t hear her ask which number apartment I was in….

So, all in all, it could be one or none of the above…. Or maybe I won’t get my clothes back at all… At the moment your guess is as good as mine….!!
